Marta Elena returns with "Por Amor", a bold new album blending her signature Cuban roots with boleros, funk, and regional Latin influences.

TORONTO, ON — Feb 2, 2026 — Rooted deeply in salsa, Marta Elena honors the tradition that shaped her sound while boldly expanding its boundaries. On this album (Por Amor)  she remains faithful to her salsa roots while embracing new musical conversations, weaving in bolero, funk, and regional influences that reflect the evolving pulse of Latin American music worldwide.

This openness to experimentation does not dilute her identity—it strengthens it, positioning Marta Elena as an artist who bridges generations, tradition and innovation, and local histories with global sounds that are currently defining the Latin music scene on an international scale.

Por Amor, Marta Elena’s new album, was recorded at RHC Music Recording Studios in Toronto, Canada with an exceptional group of Canadian musicians and renowned Cuban- Canadian  musicians based in the GTA, this album celebrates collaboration, culture, and love for music. Por Amor is dedicated to everyone who has supported my musical journey. Enjoy...
