Charangon’s follow-up track to "La Calle me Llama" is a lively and catchy horn-driven tumbao featuring Miami-based Cuban vocalist Alberto Alberto.

"Goza Mi Tumbao" celebrates Toronto's vibrant Latin scene and encourages the listener to live their life, dance and enjoy. 

Bringing together an all star line up of Latin Canadian artists from three cities and with roots in Mexico, Peru, Panama and Cuba, Goza mi Tumbao is co-produced by percussionist Luis Orbegoso and the group's artistic director Wilver Pedrozo.

Montreal trombonist Yordan Martinez, Cuban jazz trumpeter Alexis Baro, and saxophonist Alex Naar (both from Toronto) fill out the horn section. Recorded during COVID quarantine, this release is a departure from previous releases in term of group size and length of composition but delivers the same swinging energy that the band has become known for. Pedrozo says that he wanted to lift people's spirits during this difficult time when it's easy to feel isolated and far from your community.
